Welcome to our school website. My name is Miss Tania Rickard and I am the Headteacher of Ysgol Babanod T. Gwynn Jones.

It is our aim at Ysgol Babanod T. Gwynn Jones to provide each child with a happy, secure and well disciplined, equal opportunities environment with a positive ethos which reflects our school's commitment to high achievement, effective teaching and learning and good relationships. Our philosophy and promise to you is ' if a child cannot learn by the way we teach, then we will change the way we teach to enable every child to learn.'

We encourage each child to develop as an individual. We provide a sound foundation for future education and foster an enjoyment of learning. We promote an awareness of the needs of others. We help develop independence and the use of initiative.

We welcome and encourage partnership between teachers and parents in the education of the children. An effective partnership between parents and the school contributes to the children's learning, helping parents to understand and support the work of the school.
